German luxury fashion brand Hugo Boss launches its first ever vegan suit.
The latest vegan line by BOSS Menswear is free of animal-based materials and is approved by Peta Deutschland. It is made with sustainable materials without any fabrics, dyes or chemicals derived from animals.
"As demand for ethically produced fashion continues to rise, we applaud Boss for being the first world-known premium brand to set this stylish milestone in vegan menswear," said PETA Director Elisa Allen in a statement. "Compassionate consumers can now choose a design that's not only fashionable but also cruelty-free and sustainable."
Free of all animal-based materials, the spring summer 2020 BOSS Menswear collection underscores their commitment to more sustainable fashion. The suits are available in three colours - light beige, dark blue and black. This impeccably tailored vegan suit is made in Germany from certified organic European-grown linen.
Components that would usually contain wool or horsehair have either been omitted, or replaced with vegan substitutes. “This latest look in our responsible tailoring line-up perfectly balances our suiting expertise with our commitment to the planet,”reads the description of the suit on the Boss website.
Why not own a piece of luxury with a sustainable approach? The suit features a ‘PETA-Approved Vegan’ logo, a symbol designed by the animal rights organization PETA to highlight vegan clothing and accessories.
