DESERT MOVES

Parth Patel’s Haruma unveils a four-piece collection — Dune Arc, Terra, Dune Drift and Glide — translating wind-swept dunes into leather, wood, marble and brass.

Haruma's newest collection takes its cues from the desert: dunes shaped by wind, their contours never quite fixed. Across four pieces — a sofa, a coffee table, a bed and a swing — the label translates that same restless movement into leather, wood, marble and brass, unified by a recurring capsule motif. Designer Parth Patel calls it an exercise in restraint: taking one landscape and letting it inform proportion and material across every piece, rather than repeating a single motif across unrelated forms.

DUNE ARCH

A modular sofa with sculpted, ring-detailed armrests that evoke wind-swept dune contours. A leather-piping detail, accented with capsule motifs, becomes its signature.

TERRA

A lighter, more adaptive coffee table in wood, marble and brass, its restrained detailing letting the materials take precedence.

Materials: Marble, Wood, and Brass

DUNE DRIFT

A bed with a Carlo Scarpa-inspired wooden headboard and fluted base, its angled backrest wrapped in fabric-clad pipes for quiet architectural depth.

Materials: Wood, Fabric, and Brass

GLIDE

A two-seater swing on wood-clad brass supports, its wood, marble and fabric seat turning motion into a moment of suspended calm.

Together, the four pieces read less as a catalogue than a single sustained idea, worked out across scales and functions — proof that a material language, once found, can carry a whole collection.
